    The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers keeps a to-date record of laws that reflect state-by-state what requirements have been enacted with regard to the electronic recording of interrogations for criminal cases.

The NACDL recently updated their site with a map that links you to each state now.<br />

The new layout takes all the guessing out and states either ‘yes or no’ or recommendations for recording and then summarizes the Policy, General Rule Exceptions and Consequences for not recording.
